T 21 Lewis replica

In addition too my TD trooper build i made this T21 Lewis Replica gun. Based on the screen used one in ANH Star Wars film. "screen cap."

Like so many other builds i have stensiled the drawing on to wood and cut out, section and begun to glue them togeter

The barrel is made off 110 mm. and 75 mm. pvc. that is glued and riveted together. the whole is then  filled whit bondo and sanded to a fine smooth finnish.

The stock is filed and sanded to the required specs. and i decided to go fore a more "battle worn" look, so i punished the handle/stock whit a screwdriver and made some groves. lately i made a special dark/brown paint mix, and topped it off whit 5 layers off clear coat

I have made the detailed work out off ABS on the feed-plate were the cartridge drum sits on the original gun.

Finally the whole gun assembled and painted. It the barrel and main body can be disconnected too lighten transport. its about 3 kg (perfect fore Trooping)
